ALC7 – I’m ready to ride!

You all have helped me reach my minimum pledge goal of $2500 in order to ride in AIDS/Lifecycle 7! Thanks everyone. As in the past, my family has helped me cross the finishline!

I’ll continue to update you on my training with a little over 2 and a half weeks to go to the big event. When possible, I’ll be posting updates via iPhone. I’m not quite sure how I’m going to charge it along the way — maybe one of those battery packs…

Anyways, love to all, and thank you for making my fundraising as successful as it has been. I couldn’t have done it without your help!

Migration to WordPress successful

Okay, I think all the kinks have been worked out. I just need to migrate some stuff over from the old site. While I liked RapidWeaver, being a Mac-based app had it’s problems, like when I’m using my PC. I’ll probably start implementing web applications from this point on as functionality now is less a question of platform, but more a question of platform-less accessibility.

Some important updates are (these are more for me than for you):

  • The Twitter box
  • Updated Google Analytics code
  • General layout tweaks

I’ll be experimenting a bit with the themes at a later date (like after the AIDS/Lifecycle ride), for now, I found a nice clean one that I liked last night.

Let me know what you think!
